Success Stories

At ICG, we work side-by-side with organizations to understand what makes them strong and where they need support, then co-create tailored solutions that build capacity and unlock greater impact.

A Fledgling Organization Becomes a Powerhouse

SBAOA
  • When ICG began working with the Somali Bantu Association of America (SBAOA), it was a volunteer organization that brought in less than $20,000 per year from fundraising. Through a strategic mix of capacity building, proposal development, and fundraising support from the ICG team, today the SBAOA brings in over $1 million per year with 10 employees that provide essential supportive services to between 8,000 and 10,000 refugees annually. As well, ICG provides ongoing support to help them plan and expand their monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes so that they can adequately communicate their impact to funders and donors.

A Bold Legal Force Rises to Defend Climate Justice

SBAOA
  • Climate Defenders Australia is a pioneering nonprofit legal service dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of frontline environmental and climate defenders across Australia. ImpactCurve Global Consulting partnered with the organization to support the development of strategic initiatives and funding proposals aimed at expanding legal protections for individuals and communities challenging environmentally destructive projects and climate-damaging policies.

From Local Fields to Statewide Nourishment

  • Colorado Farm to Table is a longstanding nonprofit dedicated to sustainably growing nutritious vegetables for donation to communities in need across Colorado. ImpactCurve Global Consulting partnered with the organization to support the development of strategic initiatives and funding proposals aimed at expanding food access efforts and strengthening their capacity to deliver fresh, healthy produce to food banks and underserved populations statewide.

An Established Organization Starts a New Chapter

  • The Nile Sisters Development Initiative (NSDI) has been a staple nonprofit, serving refugee women in San Diego for several decades. The ICG team led the project design and developed the proposal for their successful FULSToP initiative, which provided $2.4 million in funding to support efforts to end tobacco proliferation in Black and African American communities throughout Southern California. Additionally, ICG led the development of multiple large proposals to government agencies that resulted in the funding to launch LearnMore, NSDI’s specialized vocational training project for displaced populations.
